Trust Not in Man ---From Chicago Native author, Nate Gray

It is a natural human sense of security that one is safe with protection around him. Someone may feel that they are protected because they have top-secret security with them in their whereabouts. Their loved ones may feel that they can rest assured because they know that person has protection around him. One may feel a sense of security because they have security systems and measures in their homes or because they are armed with some means of weaponry. You may feel secure because you live in a quiet non-violent neighborhood. You may even feel that nothing can or will happen to you because you follow your same routine daily or surround yourself with your usual circle of people. Perhaps one may feel that nothing can or will happen to him because of his status or title in life. One may even feel protected during sex because they are wearing “protection.” there is nothing wrong at all with implementing security and protection features, but at anytime; anything can go wrong. True enough being a president of the United States may call for secret service protection and any other security that may be in place. Whatever the case is, it is all a false sense of security. This is not to say that people don't need security in place. This only means not to put your trust in man or whatever it is that you confide in for protection. I am not saying that a president doesn't need secret service or security around him, but I am stating that one’s feeling of being safe and secure begins with faith and trust in God. He has to be the "secret service agent" of secret service agents. If you put your trust in all others except for Him, that's where you go wrong. What if someone does trust God and adhere to this belief and yet they are still assassinated or something still happens to them? So be it. It was written and that is how it was supposed to happen. It may have been unfortunate, but we don't have the answers to why things happen how they do. It would be too much of a stress to worry about if something is going to happen. There's too much to focus on in life than to pursue your thoughts with the " what ifs." If you dwell in thinking about it, you just may think it into existence! In the meantime, just live life, contend for your dreams, think positive, move forward and hope for the best!
